but in 20 years people with disabilities still are being discriminated against in the workplace that mostly affects people in wheelchairs and the employers can get away with it by saying the persons not qualified the main reason why maybe some employer feel personally uncomfortable dealing with the disabled because they don’t know what to do or because they think that if you have a disability you would be less predictive on the job and have you pay higher insurance Deductibles but in recent years with help of adaptive technology to assist the person employee or that I have hired individuals with a disability they find that the people with a disability is actually more dedicated to their job then a person was out a disability and are willing to stay longer if they need to get a project done Did you know if you are a small business or a corporation you may be entitled for some tax incentives if you hire somebody with a disability? In conclusion I think if more businesses were open to hire the disabled and see what they are able to offer in the work force I think more of the disabled would go and look for jobs in the unemployment rate of the disabled Would go down and the people would get off of public assistance with some there has to be some major changes in the social Security policies To happen an also society has to change there perception of the disabled an not look at them as a burden on society or a second class citizen
